I am going to be flush mounting a 30G tank in the stand of my 210G to do something different for my show set up. Now the question is what the hell should I put in that tank? I was thinking possibly a small reef tank with nano fish and nano corals, some kind of exotic frogs or reptiles or I dunno...lol I want to do something pretty gnarly in there that really has that "holy crap look at that!!" factor. I could either go for a small reef tank or something totally on the other end of the spectrum or something in between. So what do you guys think should call the 30G tank their new home?? I am having a total mental block here :wall:...lol

i would go with a reef setup. having freshwater for the past 5 years, i'm getting ready to start a 29gallon reef, and in my opinion nothing beats a well established setup...have fun with it whatever u choose, and as always keep us updated

I defiantly will, once everything I put together many many many pictures will follow...lol

dart frogs are cool, but def do not have the wow factor that a nice reef has. i had a nice tree frog setup awhile back that i rather enjoyed, the only thing that turned me off was their lack of activity. the things didn't move unless it was feeding time. that was my first time having frogs of any kind and i think i enjoyed landscaping the tank more than anything lol

Whats in the 210?

Fish only bare tank with the sides, back, and bottom painted whatever color you want, and some cool lighting.

Something really cool. Maybe a single dwarf lionfish?

I saw a guys show tank with a heavily planted refugium below his tank. In this he also had crawdads, about 5 of them. I remember him saying people were always on their ballies watching the crawdads and completely ignored the huge show tank. I think his bred and everything in the little refugium
