need your help on this potential DIY tank.. ply build

ok, glass is prohibitive here where i am from and cost is gross!
300cm x 120cm wide x 70cm high

i am thinking of building wtih ply, what thickness glass should i use?
also, to seal the ply, corners. SHould i use epoxy resin?
Do epoxy resin leech badness?

when the glass is mounted, it would probably sit 60 cm from the base, so, effectively only exposed to 60cm of height in terms of pressure.

I think your numbers are wrong, unless you're planning on having a 120cm tall tank with a 60cm window for the top half? Or was that supposed to be 60mm off the bottom?

i mean if the glass was 10 cm from the bottom

I think you'll want the glass supported by something rather than just hanging there with the silicone.

yes was thinking solid block of timber, it will sit on that fro that height.
