my mom gets off work in 2 hours and were hedding out to the fish store, my quetion is how many ass. african cichlids can be in a 30 gallon tank? thanks

not many...noooo good for africans really....once you get the rocking there will be about 12gallons of water left which leaves you space to get maybe 2 africans which will fight....get a pair of convicts if ya want cichlids jst my 2 cents

i only have 2 pants in the tank seems like alot of room for more than 2 but idk too much can anyone else give there opinion on this?

First, assorted is abbreviated asst., not ass.

Second, it depends if they are babies/juveniles or adults. Adults you maybe can get 4-5, little ones maybe 10. Like 1" size.

if it is cycled, then you are good to go. i would get get some rock, but not too much, and get around 6 fish. be if you plan on breeding, get all the same species (1-2 males, 4-5 females), if not, get all different species. good luck with the new tank!!!!
