i know of a local chain store ( not gonna say which cause you guys would flip) that has a huge (atleast 2.5 feet) asian aro in a display tank.
if i report this to fish and game what will happen to the fish and is there a reward for reporting it, im not trying to be greedy i just need the money and if anything bad would happen to the fish i will keep my mouth shut
i need some help should i report it:confused:

yeah its red and gold also has dropeye
its main diet seems to be gold fish from the store so its a miracle its still alive(this chain is notorious for having the worst fish around)
hes been kept with parrots, plecos, sevurms etc. but is alone now

Call fish and game and see if they pay snitches. Most likely the fish will be taken and destroyed, unless they can find a suitable legal home for it.

ah what the heck the fish is at a...walmart:WHOA:
im gonna keep my mouth shut if there gona kill him

i highly doubt its a real asian aro... and i believe the fish are kept alive and at a later point sent to aquariums

i am gonna call fish and game and tell them on monday but not tell them where it is unless they assure me the fish will not be harmed
also ll get pics next time im there

just ask them hypothetically what would happen and don't give them your name. then, figure out what to do. in the mean time, get us a pic :)

Your not going to get a reward for reporting the fish...even if it does turn out to be an asian aro it came in from a distributer and will be concidered a mistake. Almost all of those fish taken...are distroyed right away unless prior arangements have been made with a public aquarium and in the case of an asian even that may not be possible. But nothing more is going to be done against a company the size and power of wally world.
