???
so i got a 100 gallon tank ( 60x18x30 ) im not gonna upgrade not anytime soon yet. i have no more back up tanks or anything. this is it. should i keep my shoal of 10 RBP (and im not tryna thin this shoal out) or should i just go with a single species. ( im leaning towards a blue diamond rhom if i could get my hands a baby one ) what do you guys think i should do??

A rhom would be cool if thats what you want I think you could get away with 6-8 p's in a 100g for life 10 may work as well..........jmo

Hmmm well IMO I'd go with the shoal and then save up for the a new tank then get the rhom :headbang2:headbang2

I would just put the RBP in there for now, and save up money for a 6 foot tank. Then when you get the bigger tank put the RBP in there and get a rhom for the 100 gal.

Howdy,

If you want to do a shoal, then get a dozen Wimple Ps (I saw George has them). I think 10 RBPs end up being a bit crammed, and you won't be able to keep up with water changes once they are sub-adults...

yeah wimple's or maybe five cusped piranhas (pygopristis denticulata)

both stay small (6 inches) and would look really cool in a large shoal

do wimples move as a pack like RBP's? i think thats there main appeal (RBP) the way like 4 or 5 of them latch onto a piece of shrimp and start spinning and going crazy tearing the meat into pieces. but it would be nice to have a fish that just CANT be kept with anything else. im sure i can keep tetras in the tank to keep some movement always right?
