NEED YOUR OPINIONS

Recently I came into some extra tank space so I went to the lfs to look around. I wound up making a deal on this FH which is my first ever. He's about 12"+ long and 3"+ thick. He's a pretty cool fish and looks good against the black background. This is a trial period and I can bring him back. What do yall think? Should I keep it or hold out for something better? I don't want to give him up and regret it. Is he too plain?

That's a nice fish. But it is not a FH. It looks like a midasxred devil. It's a nice fish. It all depends on you now. I would keep that fish if I were you.

definatly a red devil or midas. It looks a lot like the male for the breeding pair we sold reciently in fact.

it is a midas. keep it as long as the price is right. hope you did not buy him for a flowerhorn price.

dont get me wrong... its a very very very nice fish!

The lfs had him labled as a Midas. They wanted him out of there because he was taking up a whole tank to himself and they had a big order coming in. The had him priced at $99.00 and gave him to me for $20. The guy argued with me when I said I think it's a Flowerhorn. Either way, he's a really cool fish.
