my aro has completely stooped moving. i see his gills moving but he hardly moves. his tail is floating but his body is pointing downward. wat can i do. hes around 8" and i had him in a 120 but placed him in my 30g. the temp on the 120 was low 70s and the 30 is around 82. i dont know but im stressing out rite now. can anyone help me.

the setup has been running for a month and a half. it took a 2 weeks cycle.

temp is way too cold...... make surethe heaters are covered... if its an all glass heater they suck... buy a stealth!

LOW TEMP DEFINATELY, talking from experience. if you get bad water chemistry, you will see the aro be lethargic, slow, not as eager for food. sometimes the colour is slightly yellowish too, but you try to avoid that at all cost.

water temp. or , if he gets a fright, maybe there is alight source in front of the tank taht stands out. like a powerpoint with light. or window that shines light through
this can disturb them untill they are settled and used to it.
mine when frightened will sit at the bottom or stay in a corner seemingly still and floating with its tail poin ted down
hide around the corner, and peek, you will see it swoms around when you are away
