Needing some help with severum

Hi all,

Last year I got a severumfrom an iffy fish store. I got him cured in QT. The problem is, upon going back into my 90g, he has been terrorizing my other sizable fish in the tank, my 8 inch featherfin. I have 5 giant danios as dithers and one elderly rainbow left over from her school (all were fairly old). Its scaped and has plenty of hiding spots. There seems to be this corner of the tank that's like Grand Central Station where most of the biting/attacking occurs.

How do I stop this? Do I get another fairly large fish to break up their monotony? Or is this just a lost cause and i should rehome the severum (featherfin was there first, hes 5 years old)

By feather fin, do you mean the cichlid (Cyathopharnax) or the feather fin Synodontis catfish?
If cichlid, it often seems in a tank with only 2 cichlids, one will often dominate the other in some cases to death, especially an alpha..
If the catfish, any catfish would be considered by a cichlid such as a severum an enemy , because catfish are severum fry predators, so the sev instinctually sees it as a threat.

You want a peaceful tank, so instead of trying to force the severum to behave, I would just rehome it. It's easier to do that than trying to find a peaceful combination with the severum.
