I am worried about my gar they have little marks at the end of their beaks. I have seen them bump the glass with it sometimes. Anyone know how to help prevent this? Also I noticed some scratches on the tank. Are needle nose gar powerful enough to break the glass? They are in a 30L 18H 13W 30 gallon and are about 6 inch. I would post pics but I have not posted enough yet.

Tbh the aquarium is too small and they are a frantic and spook very easily. I wouldn't worry about the aquarium but their snouts will be damaged from swimming into the glass.

I have a very aggressive jack Dempsey in there also. He would not be causing this would he?

I would seperate from any aggressive fish they really can't defend themselves against the JD.
