Is it possible to get needle nose gar to eat anything besides live food? Our petco has three and said they would only take live. I'd like one but have no desire to feed live fish. Thanks.

very hard, but possible. i got mine to eat bloodworms on occasion but mainly just live. Ghost shrimp are a good live food
We have a hujeta gar who was only eating live food until yesterday when I was dropping in some cooked pork rib meat. It was the first time he ate something other than a live fish.
