Needle Nose "Gar" in 10g?

Well, I had a little 5.5" Needle Nose and had to give him up to my LFS because he was beating up on my yellow tail barracuda and clown loaches anyways, I miss the little guy and wish I could keep him, however the only tank I have left is a heavily aquascaped 10g and I just want to know how long you all think he'd be alright in that little tank for. That or I can just let him go.

not to take over your thread but how big do they usually get?

I think they usually get around 14" in a large tank.

Not many fish can be kept in a 10 gallon for very long. Why not try to find something bigger on Craig's list?
