needle nose gar question

Can i freeze a minnow and thaw it and wiggle it around in the water for him and will he eat them? cause im dont wanna keep live food

You could try to see if it works. If it dosnt keep trying eventually it will learn to take thawed minnows.

I had three till they were about a foot long and never got them off live...if u do i might get some more because they are fun fish to have GL

Needlefish aren't true gar, but "needlenose gar" is just another term for longnose in layman's terms.
