needle nose gar-true gar??

first off is a needlenose gar a true gar. also, i want to put 2 in my 75 gallon. i heard they get 1'6''. is this risky to put in my tank which currently has a 9'' jardini arwana, 7'' ornate, 3'' black nasty, 3'' african knife, 3'' blood parrots, and two 5'' plecos. the gars at the LFS are about 6-7''. please help.

first off is a needlenose gar a true gar? No they aren't.You have heard as they mature Jardinis can become very territorial.

needle nose gars only get 12 inches max and they do good in groups

No, these are not true gar!! and you seem to be a bit overstocked there...and just as beblindie said, your jar will most likely kill efverything else in your tank when he gets around 12" long.

and he will outgrow your 75g after he kills everyone else.
