Needle nose gar with bent nose, help

Acquired a new needle nose gar, about 4/5". It seems that it's nose is bent crooked. And so the mouth isn't closing properly, does this heal ?

It's a rocket gar, not a needle nose. Rockets' noses are always like that; don't worry.
Looks a little skinny. Fatten him up.

Ahh right, I been told it was a NNG. Oh well, any suggestions on diet?

I used to feed mine krill, prawn, worms, live/frozen fish, anything meaty. Just try to avoid gold fish and rosy reds.
