Hi Ya,

I tell ya what MFK Forum has helped a lot in starting out in the aquarium world. I thank anyone coming from my Oscar w/ Pacu thread the help was great. I now have an empty Eclipse 37 that I have removed my Oscars from and was going to try and spice the tank up a bit. I have left the water alone but did a thourgh clening of the gravel, Oscars were very dirty in small tank. I always had a very aggressive strain of string algea that nothing, fish wise, could control. So I added some algea destroy after removing all teh fish and let set awhile. I have now completed 2 40-45% water changes new filters and added cycle to restablish the bactieria. the bio wheel and deco were never touched. I have put 2 2" Kissing Gouramis, 2 2" silver dollars, 2 1.5" Angel fish, and a Spotted leaf fish. I have always wanted to try a Needle fish but have herd horror stories about kepping them alive. What are your thoughts on this? The tank kept 2 9" Oscars and a 4" Clown Loach very healthy it is a tall tank and has some live plants.

needlefish get up to 12", so I wouldn't recomend keeping one in an anything smaller than a 75 gallon.

I also know they are tough (almost impossible) to get them to eat anything but live feeders.
