Needlefish success story

I ordered three needlefish (Xenentodon cancila) from a popular fish shop in San Diego and had them shipped to my house in Michigan. One was D.O.A. And they refunded me, which sucked because I wanted at least a school of three. One other one died a few weeks later sadly. But the last one seems fine and is eating “River Shrimp” freeze dried fish food like a champ. I’ve heard they only take live food, so I’m glad I was able to get him weaned onto cheap and easy foods. That’s all.

Great to hear indeed. Sorry you lost the other ones. It would be important to continue making efforts to have it eat other foods as well, as diet diversity ensures long term health. Congrats and good luck!
