i got 2 needlenose gar i have provided them with live fish because they picky eaters and they are still not eating what i'am i doing wrong

Just keep offering them food and they will eat. It sometimes takes a few days for the acclimated to their new home.
Took mine over a year to take anything but live.. these fish are notorious for refusing anything but live. imo get them acclimated to their new home for a few weeks.. then try offering floating pellets. keep feeders in a seperate tank.. and offer them a few every few days ect but offer pellets every day... keep them hungry but avoid starving them.
oh don't worry i look at the feeders for parasites and diseases etc and if they have a disease parasite etc i cure them
