will the Neetroplus nematopus damage fibre glass resin 3d background like a plec would do i tryed a plec on my new back ground for a time and he chewed it in two places are the neets teeth distructive in the same way or will they just take the alge any one come across this please.

i read that some malawi cichlids have teeth almost the same i see a lot of backgrounds avialable for malawi fish keepers like aquaterra does any have problems with theres ? or dont they rasp like plecs ?
