I've posted a couple of threads with photos of my Istlanum pair, and rather than open a new thread every time I take some pictures of them, I wil just consolidate them into one thread here. I will update this thread on their growth, or whenever I get some cool shots.
I got the pair from Ira back in October at about 3" for the male and 1.5" for the female. I wasn't really planning on going CA with my new tank, and was just going to get back into Geo's, but Ira kept telling me over the phone about this amazing little pair of Istlanum that he had. I caved in, and picked up the pair from him. From the start, I could tell the male was something special. I instantly fell in love with them. The female has taken some time to color up, and I don't have any good photos of her up until now, but she is starting to come along. They are now between 4.5"-5" for the male, and about 3" for the female. Anyway, here are the photos
