hmm i was wonder... if ever nemo fish had some parasite would it allow to be cleaned by that cleaner shrimp "skunk one i think" i think the one in mee tank is tank bred so probably never seen a cleaner shrimp =0_o=

the one in my tank runs from the cleaner when it comes near... very odd looking shrimp zerling creature that tries to latch on to nemo who is slightly smaller can be very intimidating for nemo =D

soo kinda hard for me to imagine nemo letting it be cleaner.. or... maybe.. it just takes time.. or maybe nemo isnt so desparate and doesnt have money for cleaning services right now.

I should just wait a bit long.. well not until they ge ta parasite not that im hoping for it lol.

but.. if it happens then it happens.. =D

DO you think it will happen, that nemo fish will let it be cleaned someday =D?

if he becomes a she.. she will get alot bigger and the shrimp should be allowed on for a ride.. small fish and large shrimp don't really work together..

but nemo may just not want to be cleaned cause he already is :D

yes the Nemo is a she! itz bigger than itz other one and the colors and blck lining arnt as bright as the smaller one =^___^=

hmm i tried to get the smallest shrimp in the store i can find, the rest of them were kind to big.. and wont probably last the as long as the growing small one due to old age =/

ANy ways.. so when the Girl NEmo Fish Becomes fully grown like 3 inches then maybe shrimp can Ride her? =D? i mean clean stuff off her =D?

Hurray! =0____^=

also.. if the shrimp seems to be going after the nemo fish.. that is a sign that there is a parasite on the fish right?> how ever small it may be... very very tiny 3 white spot on the tail or nemo.. im pretty sure itz ich lol.. and i can see that the cleaner shrimp keeps constantly chasing that female nemo which is slightly bigger than the male one.. but the female nemo does not allow it to be cleaned becuase of

the shrimp is almost the same size as teh female nemo, and itz scares the fish away instead.

well any ways, just wondering, becuase the cleaner shrimp is going after the nemo with what looks to be like a tiny tiny tiny ich spot, does this mean that the nemo has ich =D

if so... then itz amazing how the cleaner shrimp can detect even the slitghtest and smallest spot of ich on the fish =D? is this true =D?

and knowing that the nemo fish wont proably give in to shrimp to be cleaned... nemo fish is most likel will end up in a quarintine tank, so he can look at him self at four empty glass walls lol =^___^=

not necissarly.. if you stick your hand the tank the shrimp will likley try cleaning you..

they'll eat other things but parasites.. dead skin, slime coat etc..

true true! Big Big gourami Fish! I wonder a cat took a salt water bubble bath with a bunch of lil shrimp and friends, maybe like a shrimp spa!! =^___^= lol joking. which reminds me of a spa in Japan i think.. where u sit in an outdoor spring pool filled with tiny fishes.. and those tiny fishes basically eat ur dead skin cells.. and u have this tingly feeling as the fish eat ur dead skin cells! Intersting! sounds fun! =^___^=

hmm i think i see minor signs of Cryyo's on the female nemo... for sure.. dont wanna risk leaving it in main tank... so ive moved the nemo pair in small quaritine tank.. =( i doubt that the nemo will let her self be cleaned by the shrimp... at their size and the shrimp being slightly almost bigger... =(

So yeah! Now mr shrimp is alone by him self.. alone and lonely in the main tank lol.
while the clown pair is being treated, before the parasites get worst! Hopefully theyll diE! at the early stage while there are still few of them! I Place my HEATER Card FAce Up in Attack Mode!! GO and make dem Eggs HAtch! Kekekekek! =^___^= Wish Me Luck Big Big gourami Fish! =^___^=V

Ok can we stop saying "Nemo" already. Please.

And if your fish are showing signs of Ich, you need to keep them in QT and treat them with med's accordingly for the full duration of the treatment and a minimum of two weeks after completion, for observation to ensure the parasites have been killed. These parasites attack in stages, so it is sometimes necessary for an extended treatment period before fish can be re-introduced to a community tank.
When it comes to the shrimp - "Nemo's" - Percula/Ocellaris Clowns are not commonly associated in a symbiotic relationship with shrimp. Some shrimp can actually be quite aggressive, which may be why the shrimp is chasing your fish (territorial of his domain, keeping others away). I would suggest you provide this fish with a suitable host anemone to take refuge in as it would in the wild.
And uuuhh "I place my heater card face up in attack mode..." <--- yea. WTF??

lol ur funny, thx for ur help, i already placed the one showing signs of ich long before in qt tank, and now is happy =D lol and yes i like saying nemo =D Nemo Nemo Fish! i may sound like a ditz but im not, i just like to sound playfull, fun fun. Thx again for ur input =^___^=

Lol I feel exactly the same way. Although you have to appreciate what that movie has done in terms of the publics' awareness of ocean ecosystems.

I'll second the aggressive shrimp thing my skunk cleaner (lysmata amboinesis) when I drop a few pellets in the tank for my YTBD he goes crazy attacking the fish so he can get the pellets. I know it's not underfed because it's chubby for a shrimp lol.

Yes Yes Nemo Movie makes people Appriciate Ocean Fish Fish =D And also made the word nemo imberded in lil kids minds, hense... NEMO FISH Nemo Nemo Fish =^____^=

And yes as for mr. Cleaner shrimp, like what u said about how he likes to eat the pellets, the shrimp does the exact same thing, Mr shrimp loves it when pellets falla nd he goes after it as soon as they fall.. and when they dont fall he will swim all the way to the top very des[arately To get to them =^___^=
