Yes he is a Percula. As far as "Marlin" - the dad, not turning into "Mom" when she died, well thats pretty much because there was no need to. Clowns change their sex in a pairing/schooling situation, the larger more dominant, becomming the female, the smaller ones, remaining as males. Well considering that most believe Sea Turtles don't even reach sexual maturity until around 50 years (though some species much earlier), and then (some) are estimated to have an approx. 30 years of reproductive longevity, it would be easy to say they live 80+ years. Some species differ, and of course predators play a factor. There is no defined way of aging them however, so a lot is left to speculation and mathematical calculation, the most widely accepted method, is to note growth rings of the scales on the carapace and plastron. Scientists count the rings and use a formula to estimate a turtle's age - much like how tree's are aged, by couting their inner rings.davo;1058906; said:
