I currently got a salmontail catfish in quarantine.
It arrived in Tuesday but it's not deong too well.
first of all it was supposed to be 2in long but I received an 8in specimen which makes the 30gal quarantine tank quite small.
As far as I know they are mainly swimming close to the bottom up to the middle area of a tank but mine just swims right below the water and only barely moves around.
It does not accept any live or dead feeders but it looks healthy (no skin issues, no heavy breathing).
I am thinking about buying some marine salt in a store nearby and just add a little salt but I am not sure if that would help at all.
What would you do in this situation?
