Neolamprologus caudopunctatus

Would you consider N. Caudopunctatus a shell dweller?...I have been breeding mine in shells.... what do you think?

I would consider them as a shell dweller even though they aren't classified as one. They will spawn in shells in the aquarium, but in the wild they spawn under rocks or in crevises.

So since you got them spawning in shells I would say they are shell dwellers.

I used to keep caudopuncs ... a very nice fish indeed .. Mine alwyas chose shells over other available sites for spawning so I would say yes too !!!
