Regular acara's are quality fish, grow 6-8 inches, generally peaceful but can rough it when necessary. I have no experience with the neon variety though so I can't comment on if they are more fragile. Normal acara's are tough though

Thanks for you input mate! They look like a really nice fish. My main thing I want to know is how big they get bring a crossbreed will it be smaller.
