Neosporin on Reptiles

I have a Bull Snake with an infection around and under his anal plate. I took him to the vet and he prescribed a prescription. We used all of it up and were wondering if Neosporin was a safe alternative.

Thats what i used on my male ball python when my female decided to bite him in the face. It was minor though. A long time snake keeper told me to use it. If its a bad wound definately go to the vet.

You can use it as long as it's the CREAM kind and not the ointment. You can also use polysporin.

Use it without the painkiller.
