Neotropical Stocking options?

Still trying to get my 90g together and I'm entertainging neotropical options.

I understand this means crenicichla, australoheros, and gymnogeos. Anything else I need to know? What do you use for neotropical dithers? are there neotropical tetras? How many and what could you do in a 90g. I would want gymnos to be the centerpiece most likely.

I think that buenos aires tetras can withstand the cooler temps, but not positive.

blood fin tetras are nice and they can take cooler temps.
