Nerite snails

Does anyone keep, or have kept, these snails in a brackish aquarium? Refering to the nerite snails sold for freshwater aquariums -such as zebra, horned, olive, etc. Tank salinity is 1.005.

In freshwater they can’t reproduce, but in brackish they could.

Yea have about a dozen in my tank between 1.004 to 1.016. Pretty hardy things

You keep Pompano in your tank?
How big are they?
Where did you get them?

I know this is an old discussion, but I thought I would chime in here because I have kept zebras and tigers in my brackish aquarium at 1.010 density.

They were quite active and laid lots of eggs that never hatched. Eventually they died off.

I have since converted that tank of African Mooneyfish to seawater at 1.022 using Instant ocean.

I like snails and I have some snails in most of my tanks. I think I will try to raise some more nerites.
