From my understanding the horned nerite snails stay pretty small, less than an inch. Zebra nerite snails get bigger, some say up to 2 inches and are pretty cool looking in my opinion.
You should be able to find an assortment of different color shades and kinds from different locations if you look around. Best bet will proly be to buy from a bunch of different sources unless you find a particular pattern/color you really like.
