I watch movies....ALOT. I rarely watch tv, unless I don't want to start a movie and have to stop to do homework etc. half way through it.

I have netflix also, and a decent amount of movies that I own so always a ready supply. Thought I could write some movie reviews for the netflix movies I watch. Be aware that spoilers will more than likely happen.:D Feel free to agree/disagree.

Donnie Darko-12/1/09: I love this movie! One of my favorites of all time now(thanks Enrique for suggesting it). A sciencey fiction type of movie filled with a 6-foot tall rabbit.:screwy: But he's a good guy....well sort of. lol Has a good meaning to it, I recommend anyone to watch it if your into science fiction kind of flicks. The ending seriously sucks, really makes you sad. It made perfect sense and went well with the rest of the movie, but sucks in the end for Donnie Darko. Never the less, watch it. I'm going to ask for it for Xmas!

S. Darko:A Donnie Darko Tale-12/1/09: Like most sequel's they suck and so does this movie. It follows Donnie Darko's sister, Samantha. She ends up like Donnie and becomes all sad and feels non-existant in her life. There seemed to be like 2-3 main characters in this movie, didn't revolve around just one. Which made it seemed like you knew noone in the movie. Just didn't flow right. Scenes just happening out of nowhere, making very little sense. The original was at least 10X better. Get it if you want to see a hot chick or two, otherwise pass on it.

That's it for now, back to stupid homework.:(

Sin Nombre. awesome movie, has english subtitles. takes place in central america/mexico. revolves around the lives of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS13) gangs

Donnie Darko was a good flick and, thank you for the heads up on the sequal. Just like I thought. Recent rememberal netflix, Drag me to Hell was really good horror. Angels and Demons kept losing my interest(?) Observe and Report was pretty funny and whoever made Year 1 should be shot along with Jack Black, imo.

i agree. Year One sucked. angels and demons was a bit too much. it started getting old

My big recommendation right now is Delicatessen. A French dark comedy that came out in 1991 that is a (very) random joke about American hotel food. If you like Amelie, you will like this.

It's not a direct satire of Hotel food, but is about a building owner who starts making cannibal meals. It happened after one of the directors felt that American hotel food was so bad that it tasted like human meat.
