Netting bullheads

I've never had a catfish before but I do have some bullehads in my native tank, I just realized it might not be a good idea to try and catch them with a net, I'm assuming those pokey things they have will get them caught, is that right?

If so how should I go about catching them if I needed too

I'm not planning on it but just somehting I should probably know

I drain the tank low and just use my hands when dealing with my cats. Another trick is to use a towel or wash cloth and wrap them up in it.

cut off the top of a gallon milk container or use any other large container and chase them into it then once they are in cover the opening with something, and take it out. This stresses out fish much less because you never remove them from the water
