If u a bio wheel filter 150 or 350 any 1 with those cartridges they r costly to keep buying so real easy deal dnt throw away used one remove the blue fiber w a razer empty out old carbon scrap the surface were fiber was attached till get smooth then get some velcro cut lengh And width to fit around the carrtride stick down fill w new media and. Cover w new fiber i use ac carbon fiber ive got three filters going and i havent bought a cartridge in over a year!

Do you have pics? i've got several and this is interesting?

I like to see pics also.

I just get my gravel, carbon, media etc put it in a bag the right size for my filter. Get a brick sized sponge and stuff them in the filter. Have to make sure it fits though and every time I do a wc I rinse and literaly batter the **** out of the bags. Works fine. make sure it is right size though and easier if it is a big filter. I recommend about a 55gallon filter. Mine is for a 70 gallon and it is doing great. :)

Nice first post and welcome to MFK :)
