I dunno about that...

What happends to minerals that are used up by the fish and plants? What if your fish require hard water? The description says it softens the water...

Does it remove nitrates?

I don't get exactly what it does. It seems like it continually adds water to the tank will the old tank water goes down the drain....

Not anything new.

Yeah I don't know about this one. He says he didn't change the water in one of his tanks for 3 years. OK!!! I think we need to contact this guy and get some info out of him

Yeah but he said he "don't never have no problems". If you are going to try to sell something, at least speak intelligently.

I'm sure inside that wooden box is some type of filter that removes chlorine and other impurities. He didn't want to give away his secret. Sounds just like a basic drip system. He did not speak with the highest of intellect but I give him props if he thought of a drip system on his own. I certainly never would have if it weren't for MFK.

I don't think I would buy this if a company was selling it, rather less pappy making it in his garage.

*Edit: If he's trying to sell this, why is there nowhere to buy it?
