I have been buying fish from a vendor for the past 2 years,it seems every other fish or so i get from him are always prone to ich,the problem is he always seems to have what i want(i am a huge S.A.cichlid lover)and in my city these fish are hard to find)my last purchase a week ago has caused an out break of ich throughout my tank!!!I am sooo pissed right now!!!Everytime i address him about this he blames my water,wich i know isnt true because all my other fish are super healthy (i even quartine all my new fish for a week)he has never once tried to make things right,so i am stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Never give the benefit of a doubt......

I think that no matter who you are getting the fish from, you are prone to having problems if you put a fish right into your tank after shipping. It would be a great idea to quarantine fish after shipping, as problems can be expected.
Normally, if you ask Petco or Petsmart to order a special type of fish, they will order it for you, if their vendors have them available.
i think the lesson learn should be to find a new vendor. 2 years you've bought fish that easily get sick from this guy and have yet to learn your lesson
I'll just say the way this vendor treats his fish is way his fish are sick... I mean cmon wcs 2x a month, is too little...... I bought silverdollars who seemed heathly in the bag but when they came, loaded with ick...... thats probably why he delivers, so he don't lose $ $$
