ever since I ordered my "altuvie" online I was told by numerous people it was a comperesses I fought with them because I believed in the dealer but when a person who is well known in the piranha field once again told me it was a compresses I agreed now all these jerks on face book attack me for calling the dealer a liar and a thief when it was them from the beginning who did this,i have a lot of respect for people in the piranha circle but some people really need to get a life.For now I am out of the piranha hobby so everybody happy holidays

Who did you order the fish from and have you spoken with the vendor about the identification issue?
out of respect for the vendor I will not name him but you know him its just these certain guys on piranha forums on facebook that bash this dealer all the time and the one time I agree with one of them I am calling the dealer a liar and a thief wich is what they make a habit out of my fish died last night anyways so it is back to cichlids for me.

Also its very hard to ID small little serras like that size. It can be alt, comp, rhom, or other serras that have similar body/jaw shapes. no one can be confident in their ID until you grow them out.
I saw your facebook posts and know the vendor you speak of. They are very hit or miss. There is a type of love/hate relationship with them as some folks have had great experiences and others have had horrible ones.
In all honestly, I would say there are better online retailers that are just phenomenal. If you search this forum you would have found many hit or miss reviews with that vendor. Some of the other vendors on here have virtually no complaints.

yes I just feel bad as I have done a lot of business with that company before,but I am out of piranhas for good back to my 1st love convicts
I'm almost certain of who the vendor is now and that's pretty bad as they seem to stock more different species of piranha than anyone else.It is like their specialty and they should at least be able to get it right when it comes to those fish.
