So I opened up a new pack of frozen silversides and found two different kinds of fish besides the silversides can anyone tell what they are????? What ever they were they sure didnt last long but boy were the little silver ones dirty when they got chewed up..........

I always get different fish in with my smelt. Usually puffers.

Don't know what yours are though.

That striped one almost looks like a juvy pike cichlid. The others just look like a tetra.

the short wide lookin ones are shad i think.. donno bout the striped one though.

where is your mix from? The wide ones do look like young shad and the other might be one of the fundulus.

Yeah I agree with guppy. The bottom two are shad and the top look like some sort of killi...

It's a female Striped Killie

Mine died two days ago I collected some in a bay near my house last fall.

these were either "Ocean Nutrition" brand or "San Francisco Bay Sally's Silversides" those are the only waY I can get them here I dont remember which brand it was....
