I did.:irked:

Work has been taking a toll on me of late and as a result i've been slack with maintainence. In actual fact, i've done diddly squat for the past few weeks :screwy:(until yesterday). Seem's my female Red devil is paying the price, for my lazyness, by developing a small case of HITH. To make matter's worse, she's totally amped, post water change and is now preparing to spawn. :( I'll be stopping in for med's after work tomorrow and (would this be advised?) will be keeping a watchfull eye to pull the eggs straight up. It's only just noticable at this stage, so with any luck, i can rope it in before it becomes to severe. I've become quite attached to this one, so here's hoping.

Not great photo's, but this is her. Still just a youngin'. Ain't she something? ;)

hate to hear it Marc:( Sounds like You caught it in time, though.Hey Bro,We all slack a little from time to time, for whatever reasons

By the way,She looks good!

I wouldn't treat the HITH unless it gets bad. The standard hexamita tablets have worked for me along with the obvious clean water, salt, and high temperatures. Just do a big 50% waterchange, bump the temp to 82-83*, and add the recommended dose of salt.. If worst comes to worst, then get some meds. If you're concerned about the eggs you're probably going to lose due to bad water quality, get some methylene blue.
