i learned after my first stingray death which i assume was related to feeding that dont be mistaken on how much motoros need to eat! any also beware of signs of malnutrition in rays such as pelvic bones showing and skinny tail. Eventually if you dont feed enough it will be too late and they simply will be so malnurished that they wont even accept food any more.
 
you should usually put more than enough food in the tank and remove once the ray is done eating
