New 11” male Midas - just sharing

Some may have seen a recent thread of mine where the 7” Midas I already had was assumed to be male - and then laid eggs. Lol

I asked Dan at COTA if he could hook up a definite male and he delivered this hoss. The female was kicking the crap out of him for first couple hours yesterday. I cleared the tank of hides and then put back in today (she was defending the spot where she had previously laid eggs, which were now gone). Now the male has claimed top spot but isn’t being overtly aggressive, just running her off every so often without any nipping or anything. Anyway, will monitor time see how they do. Here’s a few pics, just wanted to share..

Mostly for my own reference down the road, heres a picture from today of the brute. He’s solo in own 125 (his lady friend ended up living up to the insane Midas billing).. He’s a big fan of his clay tile section and just trying to give him as much room as possible other than that. Lot of personality on this guy, comparable to my Oscar for sure.
