Yo, nice lookin fish but how long has that tank been setup and running???? Looks like it was just completely filled!!!
 
yes I just filled the 125 , I used cycled water, filters and stones(emptied a 90 gal) he has 1/2 . Yes I beleive he is a caribe after all, so I guess the 100 I pais isnt too bad?? My son tries to put that little plastic dolphin in all, mky tanks!!

to the piranha noobs they wont know at all. but if you keep piranhas you should know what that is. the humeral spot should show soon but as they grow it tends to fade away. you can also note that the eyes are white and rbp's have caribes have reddish/orange eyes. plus bigger jaw structure
 
Careibe are different from reds in a few ways. One and the most obvious is max size. The NewPort Aquarium in Cincinnati (well Northern, Ky) has some Caribe that are easily 15" while reds rarely get larger then 10". Caribe also have a prominent humeral spot and even in its faded colors due to stress and being in a white bucket you can see it on this fish. Also caribe have a flatter more bulldog type face. Reds, when mature, tend to have a dark color especially when breeding with more goldish glitter to them while caribes are a silver-gray with silver glitter to them.

$100 is a great deal for that beast BTW!
