Here's pics of my new 120 gal setup
I added a Green Terror as the "centerpiece" as suggested by some MFK members but it's getting beaten by the Pair of Acaras. Should I leave em alone? There's enough room for it to hide and they only chase it to a certain limit and then go back to their territory. I think it's a female Green Terror which I tried to pick since the males are so aggressive.
Stock:
Male/Female Blue Acara
Green Terror
2 Firemouth
4 Clown Loaches
3 Bamboo Shrimp
Tank (2x 300 watt heaters, 2x powerheads for circulation and a bubble wall coming from 3 air pumps)
For Lighting i kept 2x Coralife 10k daylight 18" inches instead of the 24" fixtures because it seems too bright for the fish and since I'm not growing plants I like this look better.
Tweaked AC 70 with sponge/3 inch gravel bed/11 lucky bamboo stems growing to help keeping Nitrates as low as possible in between WCs. (Not main filter)
Overflow and Main sump filter containing Nitrazorb, Activated Carbon, Purigen, sponges, bio-balls and an extra bag of Biomax for extra bacterial growth.
And finally the tank owners D:
Opinions and suggestions appreciated
