I have had a 20 gallon when I was a kid and I thought it was huge. Last year I moved up to a 55 gallon and I thought there was no way I would ever want/need a bigger tank. Laster week on craigslist I impule bought a 120 gallon(5 feet long/1.5 feet wide/2 feet tall) with stand, top and filters.

The problem I face now is what to stock in it. I have 3 red belly piranhas(4 inches each) in my 55 right now. 2 flowerhorn fry (never saw parents so it will be a surprise as to what they are) in my 20 gallon. I have them seperated by some egg crate.

Should I throw the piranhas in the 120 and add some more pygos to make a large pygo shoal.

Should I grow out the flower horn and put the best one in it/ or put both in it and seperate by a divider.

Or should I get something else, and if so what.

Let me know!!! Thanks in advance!!! (p.s I hope the poll works)

I'd go with the better of the 2 FHs in the 120. You could probably keep something else in there too, or try it at least.

ya you could do a decent Piranha community in the 120 make it look all natural, personally I am not a big fan of Cichlids let a lone hybrids like FH's...

I'd go with the 2 flowerhorns, 3 silver dollars, and a pictus catfish, some darker toned gravel, and artificial plant scaping.
