Just acquired a 60"x18"x26"h aquarium. I want to create an Mbuna community. I would appreciate your thoughts on the stock list and the male:female ratios.

Labidochromis Caeruleus (Yellow Lab) 2 m & 7 f = 9
Pseudotropheus Demasoni 2 m & 10 f = 12
Metriaclima Estherae (Cherry Red Zebra) 1 m & 3 f = 4
Pseudotropheus cyaneorhabdos (Maingano) 2 m & 7 f = 9
Pseudotropheus percipax (Ndumi Red Tops) 1 m & 3 f = 4

Also, are there any top water fish that can be kept with Mbuna since the tank is kind of tall.

I would drop a species, from I understand percipax are really aggressive. I would up their females to 7 also. Y'all want either one male per group or 3, with 2, the dominant one with bully the other. 3 spreads it around more.

Thanks again. Revised list ...

Labidochromis Caeruleus (White Lab) 2 m & 7 f = 9
Pseudotropheus Demasoni 2 m & 10 f = 12
Metriaclima Estherae (OB Zebra) 1 m & 3 f = 4
Pseudotropheus cyaneorhabdos (Maingano) 2 m & 7 f = 9
Cynotilapia afra (Cobue) 1 m & 3 f = 4
