Hi

I have been fish keeping for about a year with nothing in the tanks over 6". We are going to be moving to a larger house in about a month and am planning on setting up a 110 - 120g tank to house ca/sa and am looking for suggestions on tankmates and proper equipment. Really have my heart set on a Jack Dempsey and would love to have a green terror in there somewhere. Oscars would be great too. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Green terrors are great, but in my experience, not extremely nice with oscars BUT that is just my experience ive heard they do great together on other occasions.

My Gt did well with my oscar. I have allways felt Gts, oscars, dempseys were pretty compatible. I had salvini in with my oscar and gt too, as well as jaguars, texas, black belt. There is a lot of options. It is hard to decide. I am having to move out of state and restock my tank when I get there. I'm trying to figure out what I'm gonna do too. 4-5 big fish like this seems to be a good place to stop. For example a gt, an oscar, a couple jack dempseys, and a pleco or two or a couple catfish. I had clown loaches in my 125 as well and they did awesome. Pick a few you like, do your research and go! Good luck!

first thing to do is get the tank...or at least figure out the tank size you want and let us know the dimensions of the tank and we can go from there. in that size tank though a JD is certainly doable as would be an oscar or GT. :)
