I'm a little worried about the return chamber volume, time will tell.
20200508_232257.jpgAfter I verify the setup, I'll be ordering all black pvc for in the tank.

Got the plumbing looking pretty clean. Gonna paint it all black above the water line.

Got a bit of work yet. The tank was previously saltwater, and I'm struggling to get the residue off the glass. Tried a strong Citric acid and razor, didn't even budge. Might have to resort to Muriatic and i was planning to redo the silicone anyway, so I wouldn't have to worry about that.....

All in all its going well so far, really liking the look of the plumbing underneath with the 45s keeping it clean and tidy.

Nice work. Before going the acid route you might want to try vinegar and table salt. I saw it in a YouTube video (Rachel O'Leary), and gave it a try on a 58 I was cleaning. I sprayed the glass down with vinegar, then scrubbed with salt and a nylon pad. Nice abrasive action without scratching.

Nice work!

Nice.

What worries you about the dual overflow chamber?

BTW, you may want to consider strainers on both drains if you decide to run both with a full siphon with no back up drains. Helps keep larger objects from getting lodged.

I should rephrase, my pump return chamber in my sump. It seems small. I think it will keep up though.

And I also have the option of redoing the plumbing, and just making 1 of the 4 holes a return, and then make a manifold along the top. Overflow systems are all new to me so all the info is helpful!
