new 125 gallon tank!

i would like to star off by saying hello im new to this site. the reason why im posting is im buying a 125gallon tank an i have some fish in mind but i dont no if they will get along if you have any edvice i would like to hear it well here are the fish i have in mind 2 peacock bass 2 snook cichlids 2redtail barracuda . 1 needle nose gar...thx

I don't know anything about those fish but welcome to the sight and enjoy your 125! Make sure you cycle the tank and add fish slowly.

Welcome to MFK. Well out of those fish the only ones that will fit is the snooks and possibly the barracuda if it gets over 17" then no it wont be able to stay.

so the tank is to small for peacock bass an gar but not for the snook an the barracuda?

Yes you might be able to pull off 2 snook with a Barracuda and a couple dither fish.

Gar are massive fish and so are peacock bass. The minimum for one peacock bass is a 240+ gallon tank. I don't know about min. tank size for a gar but I know 125 is way to small.
