I am picking up a 125 Gallon Tank this next week from a local kick butt sale.

I am planning on running a XP3 Rena, and later maybe a hang over like an Emperor 400 for filtration.

----------

I am looking to have a community mbuna tank and possibly a few haps.

The fish I really like are Yellow Labs, Yellow Tails, Red Zebra, Demasoni, Peacocks aka like Red Emperess, Auratus, Electric Blue.

In a large community in a 125, would these fish coexist without to much aggression in large groups?

You need more filtration for a 125gal.
I'd go with two XP3's and a HOB (Emperor 400).

The fish you listed will work fine. But be careful on the Demasoni. They are the most aggressive from what you listed and will pick on all other fish.
The Red Empress and Electric Blue are not Peacocks. They are just Haps.
And the Auratus is a mbuna.
Peacocks are any fish in the Aulonocara family. Such as a German Red, Sunshine, Red Shoulder, Bi-Color 500, etc (generic/common names).

I recommend 2 Rena XP3's or just one fluval fx5. And as for the fish i can't help since i don't know much about africans.

Sounds good. Id do w/o the yellow tail tho. He would probably get bullied a little too much. But yah if your going the Hap/ Peacock route more is better in most cases.
Be cafeful with demasnis, they can get nasty quick.
I would avoid the longer rock dwelling mbuna, like electric yellows. They are hit or miss, sometimes calmer than others but usually they will be too much for peacocks. I think 6-7 haps/peacocks would do best. I like sunshines and german reds and obs. Sooner you get the HOB filter the better as well.

Instead of getting multiple Rena filters and a HOB filter, buy an Ehiem filter rated for your tank size (or rated for larger than your tank). You will be fine then (and save money too). I never understood why people need multiple filters. I am using a trickle filter now, but I ran a heavily stocked 180 gallon off a single Ehiem for years without problem. Obviously, water changes and filter maintenance is important.

I would be hestitant to add Demasoni.. I tried them and they killed a lot of my fish.. Although others have had luck with them.

If you go with Haps/Peacocks/Mbuna mix as you plan, it's best to get less agressive Mbuna. Electric Blue Ahli will eat your smaller fish (which is fine if you are ok with that). Auratus are kind of iffy.. I had them with peacocks with no problem (although they fought amongst themselves).. others have had problems with them.

So.. in summary.. I'd drop the Auratus and Demasoni. I would probably limit myself to just one or two Red Empress males as well (as many females as you want). The males need lots of room.
