Traded my 4.5' long 125g complete setup for a 125g 6' long complete setup. Just added the terra cotta pots since I added my CK. Figured he needed some hiding spots so I took a hammer to some pots. Figured I'd share.
Me too. I'll take length any day when it comes to tank dimensions. Let's see... After having it all broken down, the switch didn't take long. Took about 15 minutes to get my previous 125g acrylic and stand with all the equipment down the stairs and loaded. Then, maybe 10 minutes moving it into dude's storage facility. Then another 10 minutes moving the new glass one into his trailer. (which was heavy as *&%^#!) Then another 15 minutes moving it up the second floor.
Took me easily 60-90 minutes to break down the tank and relocate the fish into a tote. Add at least another 60-120 minutes for sucking up all the sand.
It's in the same location of the room, but I don't have it caddy cornered anymore. It's running across one wall. And looks real nice there. No problems with second floor. Slapped a level on it when done and it was right on point.
