Looking to get back in the game after a few years. I am looking at a 125 Gallon Acrylic to house Cichlids and had some questions about set-up. My biggest tank in the past was a 55 and i had an Emperor 400 Filter. I've never had any experience with Canister Filters, or sumps or anything like that, and obviously a HOB filter wouldnt be adequate. If someone has ideas/thoughts/experience with a setup like this, information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

wetdry sumps so easy a caveman can do them....

I have never set up a wet/dry sump before...anyone have plans/materials I would need (or link to previous thread)? Thanks guys.

sumps are the most efficient cans are easy and do a good job with those messy cichlids.... personaly i would go with the ac 110 and a good can filter ehei m are gorgeous but the fx5 is a beast as well dont do too many hob's because the downward heavy current isnt ideal for cichlids.... the cans keep the bottom of the tank gentler .....sumps have everything and keep everything nice gentle and very clean
