Ok, so i have been shopping for a new tank and came accross this one. I would like some opinions on my setup options please. so i have a 75 gallon with my pleco and texas(may be a flowerhorn) cichlid. the texas is so aggressive and has destroyed everything so now i might move her so i can have more fish with her.

so here are my thoughts.

1. move texas and pleco into 140 and get other fish(convicts, a gulper cat, and some other cichlids) now leaving my 75 open for a new project. either a small african setup or salt water and get a snowflake eel with some other fish.

2. turn 140 into saltwater and get a snowflake eel and some other cool fish. keep 75 as is. pleco and texas...

3. turn 140 into huge african tank with ton of rocks and lil africans swimming around. 75 stays the same

ok so now the thing is im on a second floor so the african or salt water setup could end up becoming extremely heavy!! so i could stick with the 75 gallon to do salt or african and move my other fish into the 140. we do all know that the tank will not fall through but it could give sag after so long. i will have renters insurance and the house is old with solid wood floors.. i have heard of people keeping 180s so i pretty sure i will be ok... i have never kept salt water before but have had cichlids all my life(and think they are cooler than salt water fish) also i think i'll need special lighting for the saltwater and maybe a powerhead.. any thoughts are appretiated!! thanks
