hay experts out there. i got a 150 gal and im gonna move my atf and gars in. as of now i have an emperor 400 and geting a canaster to go along. what kind of power head should i get i want a nice strong one. what are some other things i can do to make it nice like bring out the fishs color or make the water better. i want this tank to pefect so what would you guys do in my place to have a sick tank

I"d recommend going to your LFS to look at different bulbs they will help you out. I prefer Aqua-Glo myself. As far as keeping your water in tip top shape get a test kit and check your water weekly. Make sure you perform 50% water changes weekly. You might need more depending on your feeding regime and bio-mass on the tank.
black substrate really brings out the color and i like the power head 901 pumps 900gph and it quiet for the ease of setting up get a ehiem wet dry canistor they rock and are easy to use it'll cost you though paid over $500.00 for mine
thats what i had planned is a black back ground. ya and i change the water ever two days or so only about 20% bc i like to power feed.
